Well it’s hello from me… and hello from him

Hi Villa blog readers, I know this isn’t in any way football related but I wanted to explain my sudden absence; I’m now a daddy!! It’s been a very emotional rollercoaster of a week, beginning with a mammoth 55 hour labour for my poor wife and resulting in the birth of my beautiful daughter and quickly followed by nights of 2 hour sleeps, interspersed with feeding and nappy changing etc, in a sleepy haze. So there is my excuse for not writing on here and I hope you’ll consider it a good enough one.

I’ll try to get back to my habit of at least one update a day, but forgive me if I fall slightly short of that mark. Fear not though, because up steps the return of my predecessor; Irish Steve. Steve has been travelling and generally enjoying himself but now he’s back and raring to go. Great timing Steve.
