What do you think of the new kit?
By: Martini Extra Dry | July 7th, 2008Villa have today unveiled the new kit we’ll be wearing next season, with a display on Brindley Place in Birmingham, involving Nigel Reo-Coker, Martin Laursen, Ashley Young and John Carew. No big surprises that old Gareth Barry wasn’t involved in the showcase, for the first time in years.
So what do you think of it? It’s a very simplistic design, much like the new club crest that they came up with last season. The away kit this season is going to be light blue, rather than the white and sometimes yellow that we’ve become accustomed to.

And look at this for great club morale; Ashley Young and Nigel Reo-Coker are holding hands!! Awww, now isn’t that sweet?!

I like the away kit a lot–the home kit looks better on the players than the leaked version did the other day. Overall great kit (it is Claret & Blue after all) and I love that we’re no longer sponsored by a gambling website.
