No-one can say that Vlla are boring anymore. For many years we have been the Kings Of The Draw but now we are not just entertaining on the pitch but entertaining off it too. We are banging the goals in, creating future England stars, singing amusing chants and even slagging it up with naked chicks! We bore no more.

Only people who live in caves (oh and those strange people who don’t like football) haven’t heard about John Carew’s antics of last week and the embellished stories and pun-headlines are abundant. But it was the good old travelling Villans who tickled me the most with their ‘intelligent’ reworking of the old ‘Get your tits out for the lads’ classic. Quality.

In other Villa news (is what I’ve said so far definable as ‘news’?), Gareth Barry’s injury to his ankle appears to be of little concern and he should be available to play on Wednesday against Blackburn.
