Odense it is
By: Martini Extra Dry | July 13th, 2008Aston Villa finally know who they are to face in the Intertoto Cup, with today’s game between Odense Boldklub and Turun Palloseura (aka TPS Turku) ending in victory for the Danish side.
After two legs, both of which Odense BK won, we now have our opposition confirmed for the Intertoto Cup tie, which begins in a weeks time. Odense won 4-1 on aggregate to secure their passage, but we’re hoping their winning streak ends there.
The first leg is away and the exact date and time is as yet unconfirmed, but the home leg will be at 5.15pm on Sat 26th Jul (2 weeks from today). Tickets are available online, click here.
Odense is located on the Danish island of Funen and is best known in England for their former player Lars Elstrup, who played for Odense both sides of his time at Luton Town.
